How Vistage Is Bringing Its Mission to Life Through Local Partnerships
Leadership begins long before the boardroom. With that belief at the heart of its mission, Vistage has launched the Future Leaders Program — a powerful initiative that invests in the next generation of changemakers by honoring young people who exemplify courage, character and commitment.
Through partnerships with organizations like Our Community Salutes (OCS) and Stars of Honor, Vistage proudly celebrates students stepping forward to serve our country or lead in their communities.
Our Community Salutes recognizes high school seniors who have chosen to enlist in the U.S. Armed Forces after graduation. These students demonstrate values that align deeply with Vistage’s commitment to integrity and service. In partnership with OCS, Vistage has supported recognition ceremonies in local communities, attended by military families, civic leaders and veterans.
Stars of Honor celebrates elementary students who show academic excellence and leadership in the classroom. These students will be recognized during college athletic events, receiving certificates and standing ovations as their families cheer them on. By supporting Stars of Honor, Vistage shines a spotlight on young people who are already demonstrating the qualities of future leaders.
The Future Leaders Program reflects Vistage’s purpose: to help high-integrity leaders make great decisions that benefit their companies, families and communities. As CEO Sam Reese says, “We believe leadership is a lifelong journey. This program helps us recognize and encourage those just beginning that path.”
